hey gemma, I would like to ask you something... How do you edit your scanned pictures in order to erase the traces of the paper? (those blueish stains on the background). I change the levels but I never get them to look so clean as yours...

Hey! I know I'm not Gemma, obviously, but I thought I would offer you some help in what I do with my drawings.

One thing that is always good to do is wipe down your scanner bed with a computer screen cloth or something with no dust on it itself before scanning to avoid dust and stuff, that can be so annoying and a pain to try and fix if you get a spot on the drawing itself.

Now, using photoshop, I take the magic wand, click on the big white area and have it select most stuff, refine it zoomed in a bit to check it's not cutting out anything, feather the selection by 1 pixel, just so your lines stay bold and smooth and don't get all jagged, then delete making sure my background colour is pure white.

I hope that helped? That's only my way, haha. I'm sure there are a few ways you can go about doing this.
